GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY.

Founded in 1924, the Country Club of Barre is considered one of the “must play” courses in central Vermont. Nestled in the rolling hills of Plainfield Vermont, the Country Club of Barre offers a unique and rewarding golf experience. You will experience not only golf at its finest, but scenic views of the beautiful Vermont landscape. CCoB was named in Golf Advisor’s Top Courses in New England in 2016. So come play the one course that you will remember forever.

The 18-hole Michael Hurdzan course is designed with all players in mind, from the beginner to the experienced, from the high handicap to the low handicap, all levels of experience will find the course challenging and rewarding. The fairways are narrow and tree-lined, making it interesting for intermediate and advanced golfers.  There are three ponds that come into play on some holes, and the greens are somewhat sloped.  The signature hole is #14, a 443-yard, par 4, which plays long and straight-away.

The Country Club of Barre’s pro-shop is well-stocked with all of the amenities you would expect. Course PGA Professional and staff are always ready to assist you and to make your experience enjoyable.

After your round, relax in the club house restaurant and enjoy a meal and full beverage service. Or come in on Friday nights for a relaxed dinner. Reservations are not needed but are suggested. Also, in most cases, special requests can be honored with 24 hour prior notice.
